Eunice Kaduah Adonu – Programme Coordinator: Gender, Peace and Security 

Eunice Kaduah Adonu is a Gender, Peace and Security specialist with more than nine years of experience in programme coordination, research, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement across Africa. She serves as Programme Coordinator for Gender, Peace and Security at IGED-Africa.

She leads the design and implementation of programmes addressing gender equality, women’s rights, peacebuilding, access to justice, and the prevention of sexual and gender-based violence in conflict and fragile settings. Her work also supports the implementation of the Maputo Protocol, United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, and other regional and international frameworks.

Throughout her career, Eunice has collaborated with institutions including the African Union, ECOWAS, Equality Now, the SOAWR Coalition, the World Bank, United Nations agencies, and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre. She contributes to programme design, policy research, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity-building initiatives that strengthen women’s leadership and legal protection.

Eunice holds a Master of Arts in Gender, Peace and Security from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre.

She is committed to advancing rights-based approaches that strengthen women’s participation, protection, and access to justice across Africa.
